Rupa, who is working as a software engineer for Infosys, queued up for a CAG interview for a multi-tasking job. Somehow, she missed to read the placement ad properly, where the Group D aspect of the post involving sweeping floors(peon's job). This is what happens when you fail to read ad completelyShe even had attractive and well-paying job but was tempted by the security and stability that a government job provides. But, she was not prepared for the kind of job the CAG had in mind.
"Initially, We were confused as to why she had applied for this job. She has been working as a techie with Infosys. We questioned her, whether she want to sweep the floors here," said an official, who interviewd her.
"At first, she couldn't believe the fact that she had applied for a sweeper post. Finally, the software engineer smiled after realising that she made a fool of herself," adds the official.
So, be careful while applying for jobs from now. As, there might be a chance to make a fool of yourself.
